Celia finally got in touch with Michelle, and she recommended simply indicating Gluten Free on any of the options, and the cook will oblige for our upcoming SDR XI.
So, I recommend getting that note out to the crew ASAP, as we have less than a month left before we sit down together for the USS Sea Devil Reunion!

Here's an update:
We have THREE choices for our sit-down dinner at the USS Sea Devil Reunion, and they are:
Chicken (chicken piccata, garlic parm risotto, broccolini, lemon beurre blanc)
Fish (herb seared cod, steamed veggies, rice pilaf, chardonnay cream)
Beef (New York strip, whipped sweet potatoes, roasted baby squash, herb butter)
If you've chosen Beef or Fish, and you want to stick with that, do nothing. If you want Chicken, text me with your update at 614-657-4237, and I'll fix it in your sign-up.

SDR XI Itinerary
Monday- early check-in.
Hang out, catch up for the USS Sea Devil Reunion.
Tuesday- Free Day (No ground transport provided)
Tour Mystic, and check out the Seaport and aquarium.
Visit your old haunts, if they’re still open.
Wednesday 1000-1800 Nautilus Museum and Base Tour $35.00
Visit the Nautilus Museum and enjoy a bus tour of the base, which includes Lunch.
Sorry Lads, new security measures don’t allow us to tour a boat or Sub School.
There is a limit of 55 riders for the bus. First come, first served.
Thursday Morning 0930-1130 Business Meeting
Time is catching up with us all, Maximum participation is encouraged.
Selection of next Reunion officers and Venue for next reunion.
Thursday Evening 1800-2300 Banquet $65.00

Choice of Beef or Fish
Vegetables
Dessert

I know you want to know what's happening with the upcoming USS Sea Devil Reunion in '24. Here's where we are so far:
The dates will be Monday thru Friday, April 22-26, 2024. The banquet will be held on Wednesday Evening, and our business meeting will be Thursday morning, with final check out being Friday.
We originally considered mid-May, but due to concurrent events and venue costs, these dates are a MUCH better option for the SDR XI.
We're still negotiating the actual price for the rooms, but the Mystic Hilton (where we hosted the Sea Devil SSN 664 event in '11) offered the best amenities.
We are currently working on activities for the reunion, along with their costs, and will have that information for you as soon as we sort it out.
