U.S.S. SEA DEVIL Association Meeting Minutes, 

Charleston, SC. Saturday, 13 September 2019.

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER:

1642 - Meeting called to order by Commander Ed Lynd. 

There were __? __ members present.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

Treasurer Mike Martin gave the Treasurer’s Report as: $4,026.00 available at present.

INVOCATION:   By Chaplain Jim Schenk.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:   By the membership present.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS:

Ed Lynd spoke about how it is time for the younger crew members to step up and assume some of the Association Officer positions, and asked for more participation.

Mike Martin spoke about how it has been only the Commissioning Crew and just beyond that has filled the Association Officer posts. He warned that if no participation was enjoined that the Association would go the way of the dinosaurs.

NOMINATIONS:

Association Commander: 

Motion by Bruce McDermott for Skip Short. Seconded by Joe Hawkins.
Nominated and passed unanimously.

Association Vice Commander:

Dennis Dougherty volunteered and was passed unanimously.

Association Secretary:

Rick Cecchetti volunteered and was passed unanimously

Association Treasurer:

Mickey Martin will continue as Treasurer

The next reunion SDR X will be held April 2021 in Williamsburg, VA....
